  5. The General Ledger and Budgeting module consists of three components:  Budget
  6. Preparation; General Ledger; and Budget Accounting and Reporting (Fund
  7. Accounting).  Budget preparation allows for the creation of budgets for future
  8. periods.  Worksheets to review these budgets at user-defined levels are
  9. available.  The General Ledger supports cash, accrual or modified accrual
  10. accounting methods.  Automatic due-to and due-from transactions are supported.
  11. Preliminary trial balances, fund balance sheets or consolidated fund balance
  12. sheets are available.  The Budget accounting and reporting functions provide
  13. the ability to:  define budget accounts (format, names, etc.); track a variety
  14. of information including an original and revised budget, actual revenue and
  15. expenses (YTD and monthly, etc.) for each account; and produce a number of
  16. budget reports at user-defined levels.
