- The General Ledger and Budgeting module consists of three components: Budget
- Preparation; General Ledger; and Budget Accounting and Reporting (Fund
- Accounting). Budget preparation allows for the creation of budgets for future
- periods. Worksheets to review these budgets at user-defined levels are
- available. The General Ledger supports cash, accrual or modified accrual
- accounting methods. Automatic due-to and due-from transactions are supported.
- Preliminary trial balances, fund balance sheets or consolidated fund balance
- sheets are available. The Budget accounting and reporting functions provide
- the ability to: define budget accounts (format, names, etc.); track a variety
- of information including an original and revised budget, actual revenue and
- expenses (YTD and monthly, etc.) for each account; and produce a number of
- budget reports at user-defined levels.
